About

Hi!

I’m Maria Migalko, a Ukrainian American storyboard artist and 2D animator. I have a B.F.A in Animation with a minor in Storyboarding from Savannah College of Art and Design.

I was able to study in Lacoste, SCAD’s campus located in France, for a quarter. Being able to see the original works of revolutionary artists like Kandinsky and Monet, as well as visit the towns, sites, and the homes of some of these painters increased my appreciation for art. I will never forget the beautiful scenery of Monet’s gardens or getting hailed on when looking at Mont Saint-Victoire.

My current goal as an artist is to use my experiences from traveling and life to enhance the stories I share with my audience. A more personal artistic goal is to learn more about different cultures around the world. As someone who grew up in a culturally rich family and community, I want to explore various cultures and implement them in my projects.

I hope you enjoy my work!
